The following citation examples have been compiled using the 7 th edition of the APA style, as they are commonly used references in the School of Education .
A Reference is made up of 2 parts: the In Text c itation and the Reference List citation. The In Text citation is a signpost for the reader to the reference listed at the end of the document in the Reference List. You will see the template for the In Text citation included in the examples.

SYLLABUS DOCUMENTS
Syllabus Documents can be difficult to cite as they are available in different formats. In most cases, students will use a download from the NESA or ACARA websites, however the Print format has been supplied in case an older document is required.
